The central Vietnam beach city of Da Nang is emerging as the preferred location for the next Trump-Kim summit.
According to reports a second meeting between the two leaders is on the cards, with Vietnam being billed as the most likely Asian country to host the summit. Vietnam has diplomatic links with both the US and North Korea, one of the reasons it is being tipped for the next round of denuclearisation talks.
While the Vietnamese capital, Ha Noi was initially tipped as the venue. It is reportedly the preference of Vietnam to stage the world leader event in Da Nang for security reasons. Trump visited Da Nang during his visit to Vietnam last year for the APEC summit.
